Friday, February 03, 2012 The Justice and Public Safety Cabinet is now accepting applications for the annual Law Enforcement Service Fee (LSF) grant program. Applications must be submitted on-line through the Cabinet’s electronic Grants Management System.

Tuesday, December 20, 2011 Justice and Public Safety Secretary J. Michael Brown today announced the retirement of Department of Juvenile Justice Commissioner Ron Haws, effective Dec. 31. Secretary Brown also announced that he has named A. Hasan Davis, currently the deputy commissioner in charge of operations for DJJ, as acting commissioner, effective Jan. 1.

Thursday, September 22, 2011 The Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy and the Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse, in affiliation with The Partnership at Drugfree.org, today announced a new bilingual (English/Spanish) toll-free telephone helpline, dedicated to helping parents and families speak to a qualified social worker about their child’s drug use or drinking.
